EMMANUEL PARRAUD
“Sac la mort” is Emmanuel Parraud's second feature-length film, after “Avant-Poste”, which was also presented at l'ACID in Cannes, in 2009. Since 2010 most of his films have been made in La Réunion (“Avant-Poste” was also made there.) He is currently at work on two feature-length films. In the first, “Maire ou Jamais”, we catch up with Patrice and Charles-Henri, the two protagonists of “Sac la mort”. The second, “Le Point Gris”, will take place in Guyana.
Since 1989, Emmanuel Parraud has also made several short films, notably the prize-winning “La Statue de la Vierge” and “La Steppe”, which were aired on French television channels. His most recent mid-length film, “Tout, tout a continué”, was selected for the national competition at the International Festival of Clermont-Ferrand in 2016.
